What it the “Bihorriya” Platform?
“Bihorriya” is a platform launched by Adyan Foundation. It is the first of its kind, as it seeks to provide comprehensive information about the status of Freedom of Religion and Belief (FoRB) in the MENA region in both Arabic and English, in addition to promoting cooperation and networking between organizations and individuals working in this field. The platform features a glossary of terms specific to FoRB in Arabic and a set of research, references, and reports related to this right. It will also provide those interested with opportunities to express their views through the platform’s blog.

This section provides a comprehensive definition of the FoRB concept and sheds the light on the most prominent violations of this freedom in the 21st century. The section also explains the international mechanisms to protect FoRB and highlights its relationship with other rights.
